Fraser Coast Tourism & Events (FCTE) act as a support to other local community groups planning events, from time to time FCTE have requests for stallholder contacts.

SIGNATURE EVENTS

Event specific information (eg pricing) will be sent to stallholders on acceptance into individual event.

Vendor acceptances will occur in two stages, with first round acceptances into the accepted pool of vendors and a second round of acceptances into the individual events.

SELECTION CRITERIA / PRODUCTS

The approval process for stallholder selection will be based on the below criteria and those who can meet the brief and criteria will be given preference. Please provide details to demonstrate how you meet this criteria.

Details of product/service:

Please provide a comprehensive summary of products or services to be sold or displayed from your stall. Only products listed below will be permitted to be sold from your stall.

Detail how your product/business will enhance the experience of the consumer at our events:

i.e. Regional produce or food options, unique quality home-grown and/or hand-made items.

Details of your direct economic contribution to the Fraser Coast:

i.e. Use of staff who reside within the Fraser Coast; your business/group is located within the Fraser Coast; the equipment you will utilise comes from a vendor within the Fraser Coast, etc.

STALL SITE

Please note:

Stallholders must supply own equipment: marquees, tables and chairs etc. as they are not available for hire.
Marquees must be secured using weights only, no pegs.

Power for market vendors is limited, FCTE can not guarantee power for market vendors. Any power supply will incur additional charge/s.

I agree all electrical leads and equipment must be tested and display a current inspection tag. If this condition is not met, you may be excluded from the event.

PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE (PLI)

Stallholders must provide proof of a Public Liability Insurance Policy for an amount of not less than $20,000,000 and note the interests of Fraser Coast Tourism & Events whilst conducting their activities on land controlled or the responsibility of Fraser Coast Tourism & Events.

OTHER INFORMATION

EXCLUSIVITY

Fraser Coast Tourism & Events cannot guarantee product/services exclusivity to any stallholder as we aim to enhance attendee experience and will endeavour to provide a variety of vendors to suit the demographic of the event. Fraser Coast Tourism & Events will endeavour to not allocate a similar vendor next to your site, however, you may be in close proximity to a similar vendor.

The number of stall sites may be limited according to the specific requirements and restrictions of the event location. Sites will not be offered to stallholders who have an outstanding payment or unresolved issues regarding previous Fraser Coast Tourism & Events events.

ENVIRONMENTALLY SUSTAINABLE PRACTICES

Fraser Coast Tourism & Events is committed to reducing the environmental footprint at our events and aims to lead the way in reducing waste, implementing eco-friendly practices and engaging with contractors and stallholders that are similarly focused.

As part of this, it will be a requirement of all stallholders to implement sustainable packaging and foodservice disposable solutions within each event at a minimum this is to be in line with current legislative requirements.

Current legislative requirements:

All plastic bags under 35 microns were banned by the Queensland Government (effective 1st July 2018).
All single use plastics including straws, stirrers, cutlery, plates & polystyrene were banned by the Queensland Government (effective 1st September 2021).

Stallholders must ensure:

Use of reusable or recyclable packaging and cutlery including cups, plates, bowls, straws instead of disposable products were possible.
Minimise the use of packaging with your products for example - not using plastic straws or plastic bags, not offering lids for drinks, offering bulk condiments (no single serve sugar or sauce sachets) etc.

Submission of this Expression of Interest does not guarantee a confirmed site in the FCTE Signature Events.

If this Expression of Interest is accepted:

I acknowledge that I have read and will abide by the terms and conditions relating to FCTE Signature Events, which are available here.

I agree to pay my site fee in full by the due date as indicated on invoices for each individual event.

I agree that if I do not give notice of a cancellation as outlines in the Terms & Conditions I may not be eligible for a refund of the site fee.

I acknowledge that any missing or incomplete information will delay the application process and acceptance to the general pool of accepted vendors.
