Coburg Night Market.
The Coburg Night Market, a summer highlight in Melbourne's north, brings together a diverse community over three nights and two days. Patrons gather to savour delicious food and refreshing beverages, shop for local artisan makers' products, and groove to exceptional live music. With a family-friendly and welcoming atmosphere, the market attracts up to 7,500 visitors per day.
Use this form to express interest in a 3 by 3 metre or 6 by 3 metre unpowered or powered Food and Beverage stall site.

Plastic Free Coburg Night Market
Coburg Night Market is managed under the Merri-bek City Council Plastic Wise Policy. Stallholders are required to minimise their use of packaging and produce. Please use reusable materials like promotional banners and flags whenever possible.
Exemptions can be obtained for coffee, hot beverage and ice cream traders where non-single-use cups are unavailable. Please indicate if you wish to apply for an exemption.
Stall Setup
All sites must have a marquee for sun and weather protection (except Food Trucks and Carts), as well as marquee weights of at least 20kg securely attached to each marquee leg.
Marquees and marquee weights are not included in site hire fees. However, correctly manufactured and weighted marquees and separate marquee weights, can be hired for the event.
Hired marquees include weights and professional set-up.
Marquees used for food trading must have 3 walls unless gas appliances are being used in which case 2 walls are required.

Additional Power
Food and Beverage Vendors who have applied for a powered site can hire additional power if required. This must be indicated on this form.
Unpowered Food and Beverage Vendor sites cannot request additional power.
An LED Battery Powered Light is provided to unpowered sites. However, if you hire power, you will need to provide your own lights or hire an additional LED Powered Light.

Equipment Hire
All stalls must have a marquee (except Vehicles and Food Carts). If you cannot supply your own you will need to hire one here.
All vendors must also have marquee weights attached to each leg of their marquee at a minimum of 20kg per marquee leg and rated at 55kmph winds.
1 x LED battery powered light is provided to unpowered stalls. If you require more than one, or cannot supply your own lights to powered sites, you will need to hire them here.

We cannot guarantee your preferred stall placement but will do our best to accommodate everyone's needs.
Required Documents
Public Liability Insurance (PLI)
All Food and Beverage stallholders are required to have their own PLI at a minimum of $20M. You will need to send us a digital copy of your Certificate of Currency if your Expression of Interest is successful.
Certificate of Registration of Food Premises
If your Expression of Interest is successful, we will require a copy of your Certificate of Registration of Food Premises with your principal Council (where your food is made or equipment stored).
FoodTrader
Food and Beverage Vendors are required to hold a current FoodTrader Certificate, which will need to be provided on selection. This certificate ensures that your food service is registered with council. You can find out more and register at https://foodtrader.vic.gov.au. If selected for a stall, Food and Beverage Vendors will be required to register for a Statement of Trade via FoodTrader for each day attending the market.
